If the netCDF package was compiled using version 5 of the Portland Group
compiler, then the problem is probably with that compiler.

I'm sorry, but my UNIX user-mail-agent doesn't understand the
content-type "application/ms-tnef". Would you please resend in a more
portable format (may I suggest plain text?).
