Re: matlab and awips

As far as I know, you should be able to run both MATLAB and AWIPS on
the same computer.  If AWIPS uses the X Windows for its display, as
MATLAB does when run on a Unix system, there should be no problem
running both at the same time.

I'm CC:ing Tom Yoksas on this reply, since he has experience on an
AWIPS system (running on Linux) and may have additional comments on
this combination ...
