>From: Isaac Moradi <address@hidden> >Organization: Tehran University >Keywords: 200109040905.f84952102253 netCDF mirror Isaac, I apologize for not responding to your request before now. >Unfortunately, I could not download programs via the sites which you have >introduced. Could you please send me those via my E-mail. Since many mailers have a limit on the size of files that they will allow, we may need to break whatever file(s) is(are) sent to you into small "chunks" that can be reassembled on your machine. Before we can do this, however, we need to know some information from you: o what platform (machine operating system) are you trying to transfer the software to o exactly which files do you want to transfer We need to know what platform you are transferring to so we can select an appropriate application to split the file(s) you want into smaller chunks. I must say that it is more likely that you would be able to FTP the files successfully than to have them sent by email. The reason for this is that a number of implementations of FTP allow for continuation of a transfer even after connections have dropped out for some reason (timeout and other failures, etc.). With this capability, you can retry your FTP as many times as is needed to complete the transfer. >With best regards >Isaac Moradi Tom Yoksas
