Yes, it's done.  See the MacOSX entry of the INSTALL.html document for
netCDF 3.5, at:

 http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/russ/netcdf/INSTALL.html#macosx

If you have a working Fortran compiler for MacOS X, I'd be interested
if the Fortran interface works also; we didn't have one for testing ...
