The above message contained the following:

The above was the file "config.log" (which was created by the configure
script) rather than the file "configure.log" (which was created by your
shell when you redirected the standard output and standard error of
the configure script as described by step 6 near the end of the file
"INSTALL.html").

Would you please

    1.  Go to the top-level source directory.

    2.  Perform steps 2 through 6 near the end of the file
        "INSTALL.html".

    3.  Send me the file "configure.log".
