Thanks for pointing out the problem with the URL.  It was missing the
"//", but I've changed it to

  http://crusty.er.usgs.gov/~cdenham/MexCDF/nc4ml5.html

rather than the URL you gave, as the above is actually the link to the
Toolbox for Matlab-5 (not MexCDF).
