Hi,

I work on a system running HP-UX A.09.01 9000/755 2014273156 two-user license. 
Setting the following environment variables enabled a successful make: 

CPPFLAGS=-D_HPUX_SOURCE -DNDEBUG
CC=c89
CFLAGS=-O
FC=fort77
FFLAGS=-O3 -w

Just the same for HP-UX 10. Thanks.
