Everything looks OK -- but I'm interested in exactly what the compiler
does with the file "fortran/fort-v2compat.c". Please do the following
with your current source distribution (i.e. before executing the
configure script with different environment variables):
1. Go to the netCDF source subdirectory "fortran/".
2. Execute the command "make fort-v2compat.i".
3. Send me the file "fort-v2compat.i".
