Our server is up and running and there have been no problems
with it lately.  What machine were you trying to access?

You should be able to access the software by anonymous FTP from:

ftp.unidata.ucar.edu

in the pub/netcdf directory.  You can also access it through
our web page:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/index.html
