Hi Glenn-

Just thought I'd let you know how my tests with Swanson's
mods went.

I rebuilt the library with CPPFLAGS set to "-D_CRAY1 -D_CRAY",
but the CP time remained the same.  Beats me...

I guess I'll move on to 3.1 at this point....
