I think you may have our FTP site (ftp.unidata.ucar.edu) confused with NCSA's (ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu). The latter is the distribution source for HDF software, including release 3.3r3. Their software supports our netCDF interface to HDF files, and will also read our netCDF files, but only writes HDF-formatted files. > If you have any additional tools, utilities, source code, or snippets, I'd > really like to include them on the CD. The Macintosh is not one of the platforms on which we test our netCDF software, although we do make some user-contributed ports available without testing.
