Usage.txt > talks a lot about who is using netCDF in their computer programs or > databases. OK, I try to put descriptions of software that can read, manipulate, or display netCDF data into the UTILITIES document, and answers to the question "Who uses netCDF?" into the USAGE document. Hence the SciAn description has been added to the utilities document. > > http:/www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/ Sorry, this should have been http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/ > I haven't found home pages for most of these either, but SGI Iris Explorer > has a home page from NAG, which is going to take it over, and is already > selling it for many platforms. I check the > SciVis FAQ, but haven't had a lot of time to update yet. URL is > > http://www.msi.umn.edu/SciVis/umnscivis.html It looks useful. I'll check it again from time to time to see what's new, and for more definitive links describing the latest versions of various visualization packages. I think it would be better if your NetCDF link in http://www.msi.umn.edu/SciVis/Formats/formats.html pointed to the netCDF homepage at http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/ rather than the User's Guide. The latter is accessible from the netCDF home page, but doesn't provide as good an introduction. Links to the usage and utilities documents have now been added to the netCDF homepage also. __________________________________________________________________________ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden P.O.
