Hi Gilbert and Mike,

Here is what I can add:

The latest version of Unidata McIDAS-X/XCD is running on the Unidata
public accessible ADDE server machiens, and all machines in the
Unidata Program Center. Since these installations have been running
trouble free for about a month, they should be ready for "prime time".
What hasn't been done is updating the Unidata download area for
McIDAS and the documentation has not been addressed. As far as
documentation goes, there were not many substantial changes to basic
functionality, so I don't expect there there are many changes need
to the documentation.

That being said, you do know that Unidata no longer supports McIDAS-X,
right?

Cheers,

Tom
