Hi Bryan-

I talked with the XCD programmer and as long as the model output is in GRIB2, there should be no issue other than creating new datasets, and deleting the datasets that are replaced. He didn't see anything in the message specifically about GRIB2, but all the other models mentioned are in that format.

If you have any other questions, just let us know.

Thanks, Jay

Good morning,

I was wondering if SSEC had seen this info an upcoming change:  NOAA - Global Systems Laboratory

It suggests changes to the model products being produced by NCEP.   Are there any changes being contemplated to McIDAS_XCD for this?

Thanks,
