We keep the most recent two weeks of GOES imagery online on lead.unidata.ucar.edu and adde.ucar.edu, so all images from September 23 have been scoured (they are still on adde.ucar.edu, but they will be scoured sometime during the day toay). We keep 45 days of GOES imagery online on adde.ssec.wisc.edu, so you can still get those images from there.
