[McIDAS #RCY-484528]: McIDAS-X 2017 installation on ubuntu16.04

This means that you are not running under the C Shell.

From what I can glean in the screenshot you sent, the problem is most likely
somewhere in your environment.

Please send me:

- the output of 'printenv'  (I asked for this before)

- the output of:

  <as 'mcidas'>
  cd $HOME
  ls -alt
