Hi Kwan,

If you mean what you are setting the VENDOR environment variable to, it should
be '-gfortran' not '-g77'.

At this point, you will want to 'clobber' what has been done so far, and
start fresh:

- follow the instructions in:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/mcidas/current/users_guide/PreparingthemcidasAccount.html

Make sure that your changes to your shell-specific file have been made
active. The easiest way to do this is to logoff and then log back on.

- clobber the build so far:

cd ~mcidas/mcidas2016/src
make clobber

- try the build again:

make mcx

If you still have problems, please send me the relevant portion of the McIDAS
make log file (~mcidas/mcidas2016/src/makelog) that shows what failed.

Cheers,

Tom
