[McIDAS #JAV-781741]: McIDAS-X on Windows or Linux

If you have installed the various packages needed to build McIDAS-X
(the 'yum' invocations I sent in a previous email), you should be ready
to download, build and install McIDAS-X... progress!

I will be heading home in about 15 minutes.  I will be reading email
later this evening and tomorrow in case you have additional questions.
