Yes and to get a feed of the realtime satellite imagery in the UNIWISC
and NIMAGE feeds.  BUT, if you are doing this for private use, you may
have a hard time finding an site that is willing to feed you the data
via the LDM.  Given this, you can skip (for now, at least) installing
the LDM.
