I just pointed my McIDAS-X session at atmos.uprm.edu for the dataset
RTWXTEXT:

DATALOC ADD RTWXTEXT atmos.uprm.edu

and ran your wxtlist.k command from the command window in a McIDAS-X
session:

WXTLIST APRO=SFP ASTN=PR

and got the output I was expecting:

FPCA62 TJSJ 281541 AAA 2002028 1548

So, either your problem has cleared itself up, or your McIDAS session
is pointed at an ADDE server other than atmos.uprm.edu that is having
problems with the weather text data. To check to see who you are
using as the ADDE server for weather text inquiries, run the
following (assumed to be from 'mcidas' account since the output
you sent said "mcidas@atmos:~/ ...):

cd workdata
dataloc.k LIST RTWXTEXT

If this does not return with ATMOS.UPRM.EDU, then change who you are
pointing at:

dataloc.k ADD RTWXTEXT atmos.uprm.edu

and retry the wxtlist.k command you listed above.

Please let me know if you continue to have problems.

Tom,
Hello. The problem is now fixed. It fixed itself and we started
receiving the weather text products the morning after I emailed you.
Thank you for your quick response.
