Russ, > I'm not sure if we want to ingest NOAAPort....I want the data that comes > through the NOVRA receiver. The data that comes through the Novra DVB-S2 receiver is the NOAAPort broadcast. If you want it, then you either need to request it from an LDM that gets it or you must ingest it from a NOAAPort receiving station (in which case you must use the configure(1) option "--with-noaaport"). > I didn't use --with-noaaport in the config, > should I? Your log file contained messages like this: 20170222T194710.489497Z ldm.madis.ncep.noaa.gov[5013] WARN error.c:236:err_log() Couldn't connect to LDM on ldm.madis.ncep.noaa.gov using either port 388 or portmapper; : RPC: Remote system error - Connection refused The possibilities are: * The upstream host isn't running an LDM; * A firewall rule prevents you from contacting the upstream LDM; or * The upstream LDM doesn't have an ALLOW entry in its configuration- file for you (has your hostname or IP address changed?). > We now McIDAS-XCD compiled waiting on data from LDM. That was the other set of programs that were missing.
