How's that possible? A previous email indicated that the LDM log file was 
already owned by the LDM user:

> [ldm@twister ~]$ ls -l /home/ldm/var/logs/ldmd.log
> -rw-rw-r-- 1 ldm  programs     0 Dec 15 16:18 /home/ldm/var/logs/ldmd.log
> ...
