What is that signal on your system (execute "kill -l")? On ours it's an abort signal, which would indicate something very wrong in that decoder. > 8/30/12 3:11:27.000 PM pqact: child 10516 terminated by signal 10 (PIPEdcmetr > -v 2 -a 500 -m 72 -s sfmetar_sa.tbl -d > /Volumes/desert/data/realtime/gempak/logs/dcmetr.log -e > GEMTBL=/Users/ldm/GEMPAK/GEMPAK6.6.0/gempak/tables > /Volumes/desert/data/realtime/gempak/surface/YYYYMMDD_sao.gem) > 8/30/12 3:11:27.000 PM pqact: Deleting failed PIPE entry: pid=10516, > cmd="dcmetr -v 2 -a 500 -m 72 -s sfmetar_sa.tbl -d > /Volumes/desert/data/realtime/gempak/logs/dcmetr.log -e > GEMTBL=/Users/ldm/GEMPAK/GEMPAK6.6.0/gempak/tables > /Volumes/desert/data/realtime/gempak/surface/YYYYMMDD_sao.gem" [filel.c:290] > 8/30/12 3:11:27.000 PM pqact: child 10515 terminated by signal 10 (PIPEdcmetr > -v 2 -a 500 -m 72 -s sfmetar_sa.tbl -d > /Volumes/ice/data/realtime/gempak/logs/dcmetr.log -e > GEMTBL=/Users/ldm/gempak/GEMPAK6.6.0/gempak/tables > /Volumes/desert/data/realtime/gempak/surface/YYYYMMDD_sao.gem) > 8/30/12 3:11:27.000 PM pqact: Deleting failed PIPE entry: pid=10515, > cmd="dcmetr -v 2 -a 500 -m 72 -s sfmetar_sa.tbl -d > /Volumes/ice/data/realtime/gempak The above indicate that the GEMPAK decoder "dcmetr" is terminating due to reception of signal 10.
