[Support #JHE-806526]: Old LDM version question.

Sorry.  I forgot that not everyone beats their head against the LDM
as much as I do.  :-)

You are correct: the program to execute is "rpc.ldmd".  The command
is "rpc.ldmd -vl-", which directs log messages to the standard error
stream.  When that is specified, the LDM won't daemonize itself.
Instead, it will run just like any other program invoked by the
user.
