My first suggestion would be to upgrade. The LDM webpage is http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm You can get the latest version and follow its installation instructions in the "LDM Basics" webpages. If you wish, I can do the installation for you. I would need the username and password of the LDM user, which should be communicated via telephone.
