Re: 20021112:SuomiNet Install LDM

This archive contains answers to questions sent to Unidata support through mid-2025. Note that the archive is no longer being updated. We provide the archive for reference; many of the answers presented here remain technically correct, even if somewhat outdated. For the most up-to-date information on the use of NSF Unidata software and data services, please consult the Software Documentation first.

Hi Jack,

OK we can more or less rule out the pqact.conf file then...

How about the other question..?

> > Also, does ldm have a user account, it looks like it may be running as

Since you are not logging, there is either a permissions/ownership issue
or it is not configured properly in ldmadmin..this will be in
home/ldm/bin.

If you cannot find how or where to implement logging from our docs:

http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/content/software/ldm/index.html

please send me a copy of your ldmadmin file and I will look at it..

Thank you,

-Jeff
