Hi Alan, In your boot script, does it include starting the LDM? If not, you will need to manually re-start the LDM. We have implemented a boot script that fires up the LDM at boot so that this problem would not occur..if the machine stays up, to the best of my knowledge the LDM will continue to atgtempt to connect...forever. Please see: http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm/ldmConfigInstallList.php#s10 for info re starting the LDM at boot. What version of the LDM are you running? If running 5.2 or 5.2.1 there may be cleaner options to script the start-up process. Am I getting closer to the problem at hand?
