Hi Alan, You could contact the admins of the folks attempting to connect, and have them remove the request line to your machine. I would imagine after many failed attempts the user will failover to another site. Please see: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/projects/idd/sitelist.html For contact info. Please let me know if I can be of further help. -Jeff ____________________________ _____________________ Jeff Weber address@hidden Unidata Support PH:303-497-8676 COMET Case Study Library FX:303-497-8690 University Corp for Atmospheric Research 3300 Mitchell Ln http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/jweber Boulder,Co 80307-3000 ________________________________________ ______________________ On Tue, 17 Sep 2002, Alan Hall wrote: > If an LDM goes down, how long will other LDM's keep trying to connect before > giving up? > > Any way to keep the other LDM's from ever giving up? > > Thanks, > Alan. > >
