Tom, 

Thanks for the reply and the info.  Back in December, around the 18th,
there were problems with MCIDAS coming out of SSEC.  There may have been
other short outages.  It's unlikely that the version of your ldm would
have an effect on this, and 5.0.10 isn't all that old.  But, having said
that, I always encourage people to upgrade!
