Youssef, You have a few different options here: Choose a smaller number of time steps for the WRF output you are trying to load into the IDV. Increase the amount of memory available to the IDV: https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/idv/docs/userguide/misc/PerformanceTuning.html Find a computer with greater memory capacity and use the IDV from that computer.
