Hi Youssef,

Sorry for the delayed response. We have been in meetings for the last couple of
days.

It is likely you have to set up some parameter aliases for temperature and
mixing ratio corresponding to your WRF output. (From your WRF output I believe
the fields in question are T2, QVAPOR(?))

https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/idv/docs/userguide/tools/AliasEditor.html

Also, if you have not done so already, the standard piece of advice we tell our
users when working with WRF output in the IDV is to post-process the data with
the UPP:

http://www.dtcenter.org/wrf-nmm/users/overview/upp_overview.php

If you are still having trouble, please upload a sample of your WRF output to
http://motherlode.ucar.edu/repository/alias/idvupload

Best,

Unidata IDV Support
