[IDV #XRL-183419]: Display CHANOBS from NDHMS simulation

Greetings Erick,

You need to load the data as a "netCDF/GEMPAK Point Data files" type:

From the dashboard, select the "Data Choosers" tab, and on the left side of the
screen select "General -> Files".

Near the top of the Data Choosers tab, there is a drop down box that allows you
to select a "Data Source Type" - make sure it's set to "netCDF/GEMPAK Point 
Data 
files"

Find and select your file in the file system browser in the Data Choosers tab 
and
click the "Add Source" button at the bottom of the Data Choosers tab.
