Greetings Johathan, The IDV will need a few bits of info in order to use a netCDF file, but it depends on the kind of data you are trying to load. Since this is a separate issue, would you mind opening a new ticket? Also, if you could send me a little more info on the file (gridded data? point data?) and possibly the output of `ncdump -h` (or better yet, the netCDF file, of a link to it if it is big), that would be a huge help.
