[IDV #EYL-939857]: Map View 4 Panes

FYI, the difference between the Vista and XP version is the Java version
and the Java 3D version.   I suspect the latter is the issue for your
graphics card.  The later version of Java 3D needs a higher rev of the
OpenGL libraries which perhaps your graphics card doesn't support fully.
When you run the IDV using the Vista version is there any warning or
messages that print out in the terminal window?
