Hi Cynthia- > I am viewing movie data using unidata idv and would like to find out if > there is a way to save the individual frames, say as tif files? Are you looking at a Quick Time movie and want to save the individual frames? If so, that is not possible. The Quick Time viewer is only an viewer and does not have any editing capabilities. However, if you have an IDV display with animation, you can capture the individual frames using the View->Capture->Movie... menu. You can use the Image Files section of that dialog to save the files to a directory with a particular naming scheme.
