[IDV #YND-789009]: IDV - disappearing frame in an image sequence

When you get this error how much memory is the IDV using?
The memory monitor in the lower left will show.

If it is indeed a memory problem then there isn't much we can
do. You could try to blow down the resolution of the image or do 
fewer time steps.
