The problem is that the El Nino bundle sets the vertical scale to be -200 to 20 m so when you try to display data that above the surface from the GFS, it ends up plotting in front of the front clipping plane. You can either: - reset the vertical scale to be 0 to 16 km - zoom way out to see the other levels. ;-) Restarting the IDV resets the vertical scale. This is an issue that has no good solution.
