Hi Manuel, re: > My name is Manuel and I'm responsible for the ldm-wxo.cmc.ec.gc.ca site. > We recently swapped out our old servers with new ones. Yes, I see a big drop in EXP volume starting yesterday, December 17, around 14 UTC. Something of interest that may or may not have any bearing on your ingest is the result of doing DNS lookups for your machine: :~$ nslookup ldm-wxo.cmc.ec.gc.ca Server: 127.0.1.1 Address: 127.0.1.1#53 Non-authoritative answer: Name: ldm-wxo.cmc.ec.gc.ca Address: 205.189.10.53 :~$ nslookup 205.189.10.53 Server: 127.0.1.1 Address: 127.0.1.1#53 Non-authoritative answer: 53.10.189.205.in-addr.arpa name = ldm.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca. 53.10.189.205.in-addr.arpa name = ldm-wxo.cmc.ec.gc.ca. Authoritative answers can be found from: You can see that the name ldm-wxo.cmc.ec.gc.ca resolves to the IP address 205.189.10.53, but the IP address 205.189.10.53 resolves to two different names: ldm.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca ldm-wxo.cmc.ec.gc.ca Since ALLOW actions are typically specified by fully qualified name, it may be the case that one or more of the upstream sites that you are REQUESTing an EXP feed from has an ALLOW specifically for the ldm-wxo.cmc.ec.gc.ca name and not ldm.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca. re: > Can you confirm our new servers our working correctly? There is not enough information to make any sort of a comment wrt how well your system is working. What we need to know is: - from which upstream site(s) are you requesting EXP data? Please send us the REQUEST line(s) for EXP from your LDM configuration file, ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf - if your LDM is REQUESTing EXP from more than one upstream site, did you notify all of the sites about the change to your machine?
