Hi Hsie,

Immediately after seeing your message, I logged onto rainbow and
verified that there were lots of 'Processed oldest product' messages
in the LDM log file, ~ldm/logs/ldmd.log. I then put up plots of
the LDM-gathered metrics ('ldmadmin plotmetrics'), and I saw that
the load average on rainbow had been increasing up to the 7 value
that I saw when logging on.
In order to test to see if LDM-6.11.7 would run better, I switched
back to its use:
<as 'ldm'>
ldmadmin stop && rm runtime && ln -s ldm-6.11.7 runtime && ldmadmin start
I now have a tailing 'less' on the LDM log file looking to see if the
'Processed oldest product' messages come back.
Cheers,
Tom
