Hi Paul, re: > As requested, I'm letting you know that my DNS problems are resolved; I > have activated my LDM and now receiving a basic stream of text data from > idd.unidata.ucar.edu. Excellent! re: > I'm working on paperwork to ALLOW a connection and REQUEST data from NWS > central region headquarters. It would be helpful if you could let me know > who is the ldm administrator at central region. Hmm... what would you be looking to feed from NWS Central Region? This is most unusual! Also, I am not sure that we have an appropriate contact for you there. re: > At this time I don't think I need to pursue the (outdated?) upstream feed > hosts that you've indicated. It would be useful for you to redundantly feed from rainbow.al.noaa.gov. I updated the ALLOWs on rainbow to allow your machine, nhsmet01.unco.edu, for all non-restricted datastreams except CONDUIT (they don't appear to want to feed the high volume CONDUIT feed to .edus).
