[Staging #BDC-768289]: RE: 20080203: LDM package (SOS)

This sounds very promising!

I would say that 1) may be your best option.  I can not recommend the ATI cards 
mostly
because the OpenGL support on some ATI cards is known to exhibit problems with
the IDV (because of Java 3D, I think).  The Nvidia cards are typically the best
when it comes to using the IDV.
