All,

I had to unexpectedly take whirlwind.aos.wisc.edu down this afternoon
a few times, while trying to diagnose some bad-disk-in-a-raid errors.

Whirlwind is currently back up using a degraded raid mode, awaiting
replacement disks. When they arrive, it will go down for about
15 minutes to replace the drives, and then will probably be slow
for a bit while the raid rebuilds. I'll try to give you some advance
notice when that will happen.

Sorry for the unplanned outage.

Pete
