Hi Leigh, Please go to the etc dir as LDM and see what ldmd.??? files you have. This will tell us who your current failover sites are. Also check the crontab for ldm and see what site is being pinged for failover. Currently the failover scheme only works for one machine, so depending on your priorities you will have to make this choice. The other feeds can be the same in the failover ldmd.??? file but the primary feed will change to the failover...make sense? Thank you, -Jeff ____________________________ _____________________ Jeff Weber address@hidden Unidata Support PH:303-497-8676 NWS-COMET Case Study Library FX:303-497-8690 University Corp for Atmospheric Research 3300 Mitchell Ln http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/jweber Boulder,Co 80307-3000 ________________________________________ ______________________ On Wed, 14 Feb 2001, Leigh Orf wrote: > > I'm not sure which feed you're talking about... here's some stuff from > ldmd.conf: > > torm2[1017]:/home/ldm/etc% grep ^ACCEPT ldmd.conf > ACCEPT UNIDATA ".*" nimbus.atmo.arizona.edu > ACCEPT UNIDATA ".*" sunset.meteor.wisc.edu > ACCEPT EXP ".*" sunset.meteor.wisc.edu > ACCEPT NLDN ".*" striker.atmos.albany.edu > > storm2[1020]:/home/ldm/etc% grep ^request ldmd.conf > request DDPLUS|IDS|FSL2 ".*" sunset.meteor.wisc.edu > request EXP|DIFAX ".*" mapmaker.meteor.wisc.edu > request NLDN ".*" striker.atmos.albany.edu > request MCIDAS "^pnga2area Q[01]" nimbus.atmo.arizona.edu > > I'm somewhat new to this mcidas stuff.
