Data archive (data.atmos.uiuc.edu) still there? [was Re: Data outages] (fwd)

This archive contains answers to questions sent to Unidata support through mid-2025. Note that the archive is no longer being updated. We provide the archive for reference; many of the answers presented here remain technically correct, even if somewhat outdated. For the most up-to-date information on the use of NSF Unidata software and data services, please consult the Software Documentation first.

Is the machine data.atmos.uiuc.edu still available as an archive
machine?  My ldm died again this afternoon and we lost about
4 hours of data. I was about to fill it in from the archive
but data.atmos.uiuc.edu doesn't seem to be up.

Is this still available, or is that machine down?
