Hi Fabian, re: help getting GEMPAK decoders working in new (?) LDM setup > Thank you so much! > This helped alot. No worries. It would be useful for us to know which of the possible causes for your error that we outlined yesterday was actually the cause of the problem. Can you let us know what did to get things working? re: > The only errors I see now are these: > Any help with this you can provide is appreciated! A couple of things: - it would be much easier for us if you simply copied the text snippit from a log file and included it in your follow-up contact instead of capturing the text as an image This is not a big thing for us, but it would help us more easily quote things that we see in our reply to you. - it appears that you have a pattern-action file action that is trying to run a script called 'sat_script.csh' and this script is supposed to be located in the ~ldm/bin directory Is this true? If yes, I must caution you that it is NOT a good idea to put non-LDM executables in the ~ldm/bin directory. The reason for this is that the bin directory will get replaced when a new version of the LDM is built/installed. It is MUCH better to put non-LDM decoding and/or processing scripts in a directory like ~ldm/decoders or ~ldm/util (as long as you make sure that the directory chosen is in the PATH of the user running the LDM). Can you send us the ~ldm/ldmd.conf and pattern-action file(s) you have your configured your LDM to use in your installation? Seeing what you are trying to do will help us to diagnose your problem and suggest solutions.
