This appears like a problem with python but I've more confident it's an issue with an old version of glibc on your system. To find the location of glibc try "locate libc.so" - what is the result? If you find libc.so.6, go ahead and run the previous command (run the full path name to see what version is installed). If there are no results from "locate libc.so" then you will need to install glibc. -Michael > thanks for replying .. > > there is no libc.so.6 in /lib .
