Mark,

I am back in the office from my travels now. 

From your previous emails, you had said that your $MODEL/eta directory was 
empty (or you had created it
and several others to get past another hurdle?). Since the Garp_defaults file 
uses "eta" ad the default
modelkey, it will generate the FL and GD messages if not available.

Can you send the output of "ls -R $MODEL"?
