Jon, In order to use GEMPAK for weather analysis, you have to obtain data from some source. If you do not have a source of weather data, then you might try weather.gov and/or ncdc.noaa.gov among other web sites. GEMPAK provides numerous decoder programs for converting weather data into GEMPAK format. Information on these programs can be found in the online web pages for GEMPAK setup and the tutorial materials which are the primary method of support for unaffiliated users.
