20050517: the New Zealand upper air problem
- Subject: 20050517: the New Zealand upper air problem
- Date: Tue, 17 May 2005 12:56:16 -0600
Paul,
The station shown below "93112" aka NZWP is being decoded and stored in the
GEMPAK
upper air data files. Your area syntax is incorrect. To specify the AREA as all
stations from New Zealand, you need: AREA = @nz:c
You omitted the ":c".
The question Christian Page has was unrelated. It was that certain French
soundings
were not being uplinked to NOAAPORT, even though the NWS stated in their routing
tables for GTS that they would be.
