Lodovica, There are 2 functions: TANG(V) outputs the scalar tangential wind component, and TANGV(V) is the vector tangential wind. In gdcross, you could use: GFUNC = tang(wnd) or VECT = tangv(wnd) wnd in the above would be the total wind composed from the U and V components.
